Pregnancy symptoms


When a woman becomes pregnant her body produces a hormone revolution leading to the first symptoms of pregnancy.
The action of human chorionic gonadotropin (pregnancy hormone) along with that of estrogen and progesterone cause a series of physiological mechanisms indicate that pregnancy has begun, and may occur even before you know you are expecting a baby .
Some women may have symptoms without actually being pregnant, therefore it is best to make a pregnancy test to confirm.

Pregnancy symptoms

Lack of menstruation

Some symptoms may occur before you realize the lack of menstruation. However, amenorrhea (no bleeding) is the most obvious symptom of pregnancy , but may also be due to other circumstances such as stress, hormonal changes outside of pregnancy or some other cause.
Anyway bleeding may occur which can be confused with menstruation, but in reality it is the implantation bleeding.
The implantation bleeding, also known as false menstruation, is a slight loss of blood caused by the implantation of the fertilized egg in the uterine wall. Occurs between six and ten days after fertilization, a period consistent with the expected date of menstruation, so it is often confused with its arrival.

Breast tenderness

The breasts begin to prepare to start producing milk from the beginning of pregnancy. Begin to undergo alterations that cause swelling, tingling and extreme sensitivity , causing any friction causes pain.
The sudden increase of the hormone progesterone affects growth of mammary glands and estrogens in the development of the milk ducts, causing an increase in blood flow breast, fat layer and increases the size of the milk glands.

Pain in the belly

It is common during the first weeks feel pain in the lower abdomen similar to or premenstrual pain felt during menstruation.
You can also feel punctures accompanied by pain in the lower back. It is due to congestion of the uterus, where the embryo is taking root in the uterine lining.


Nausea and vomiting

Also caused by the action of hormones, most pregnant women experience nausea during the first trimester of pregnancy, although in some cases can extend for longer, even until the end of pregnancy.
Nausea can be accompanied by excessive salivation or vomiting. Some things you can not even smell , especially in the morning, because then you feel like vomiting occurs. You can even take aversion to certain foods.

They are more frequent morning sickness, although women who suffer at any other time of day, and even throughout the day.

Dizziness

Dizziness happen when there is a drop in blood pressure, because the body's cardiovascular system is adapting to the new situation.
They tend to be more frequent in the morning but can occur at any time of the day and end up in fainting, such as after eating, because a larger amount of blood is concentrated in digestion, or by standing for a long time.
There are some tips you can keep in mind to avoid dizziness, such as: avoiding sudden changes in position, crowded places with no ventilation and always takes a candy bag to take when you feel dizzy, help raise the blood sugar level.

Fatigue

Increases blood volume and pulse increases, so that the body demands more rest. Appears tiredness, listlessness and sleep which sometimes can not control and you feel you no matter where you sleep.

Other symptoms of pregnancy

The body is preparing to accommodate the baby, so changes are happening at all levels . It can also be headache, nasal congestion, some women start to notice an increase in urination or constipation.
You may feel bloated, that whatever you eat you feel bad, there are even women who lose weight during the first few weeks because they feel rejected many foods.
